What To Do In Case Of An Accident
If you are involved in an accident follow these steps at the scene before contacting your insurance company:
1. Remain calm! Remember that accidents are just that, accidents. Getting upset will only make the situation difficult and will not resolve anything.
2. Remain at the scene.
3. Call the police to report the accident.
4. Do not admit fault for the accident or discuss your insurance coverage or limits with anyone except the police and your claims representative.
5. Exchange information with the other driver providing your policy number and claims phone number while obtaining the same from them.
Filing A Claim
