Who We Are
Ramsey Family Insurance is an insurance brokerage that has operated out of the same location since the 1970's. We have changed names over the years but have been under the same ownership since 1998 when Gary Ramsey purchased the company he had come to work for in 1991. Ramsey Family Insurance is owned by Gray & Brian Ramsey, Gary's sons, and has plans to be serving the Chattanooga metropolis and North Georgia area for many years to come.

Brian graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and came to work at Ramsey Family Insurance as an agent in 2002. In January of 2005, he officially took over ownership in partnership with Gray and has been working hard to serve customers ever since. Brian has lived in Chattanooga most of his life and loves it here. He specializes in Homeowners and Business insurance as well as automotive.
Gray served this country with honor for 12 1/2 years with the United States Marine Corps including a 2004 tour of duty in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He returned to Chattanooga and immediately partnered with Brian in ownership of Ramsey Family Insurance. Gray has lived in Chattanooga most of his life and plans to continue serving our clients for years to come. He specializes in Commercial Auto and Recreational insurance as well as automotive.
